Other House Church Roles
“For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them…”

Shepherding & Hosting are not the only avenues by which people can serve inside of House Church. Below are some examples of other roles that can be delegated, according to the giftings of the people in your HC.
ADmin Coordinator
Gift of administration (Romans 12:7-8, 1 Corinthians 12:28)
Practical Activities:
Weekly communications via platform of choice (email, GroupMe, Slack, etc.)
Meal Night Coordination
family coordinator
Gift of mercy, giving, administration, hospitality, service
Practical Activities:
Organize family celebrations (birthdays, expectant families, someone who is moving)
Organize response to family needs (meal train coordination, financial needs, unique physical needs within the HC)
Local Outreach coordinator
Gift of mercy, giving, administration, service.
Practical Activities:
Lead and organize HC’s Local Outreach efforts
Manage use and reimbursement of budget (See the Local Outreach page for more details)
Note: This role is REQUIRED for all House Churches
Prayer coordinator
Gift of prayer, faith
Practical Activities:
Maintain an open communication channel for people to submit prayer requests
Summarize and send out weekly prayer requests to the HC
For timely requests, text the group with a reminder to pray in the moment (doctor’s appointments, exams, important meetings, evangelism moments)
