Huddles
Huddles inside of House Churches exist ideally for Gospel Partners to facillitate for the group at-large. Gender-specific and calendered consistently, these provide a more intimate setting for committed members for your House Church to confess vulnerably (James 5:16), pray fervently (Ephesians 6:18), and pursue godliness (Hebrews 12:14).
As a Shepherd, consider taking inventory at the start of the HC year of who is interested in being in a Huddle. Connect people together and tap someone to own facillitation.
The facillitator of a Huddle is tasked with keeping the group moving forward and committed to the regular touchpoint. Leading one of these Huddles has the sole requirement of being eager to listen and invest in the lives of other men or women in the group.
Practical Suggestions:
Ask the same questions each time (consider these examples below):
What has God been teaching you?
What do you need to repent of this week?
How are you loving the people God has given you to love?
How are you pursuing those far from God?
