Jason was born in New Jersey. He relocated to Houston at the age of 14 and lived with his grandparents. He grew up in a very musical family and was inspired to learn music by his grandmother, who played the piano and sang hymns every night during their daily family prayers. Since then, Jason has been leading worship around the city of Houston for the past 15 years. Jason is always ready and excited to meet and connect with a fellow worshiper. Along with worship, Jason has been working as a freelance portrait and wedding photographer for the past 8 years.
Jason is overjoyed that God brought him to Seven Mile, and has the opportunity to behold Jesus daily with the 7MR family. As a Worship Resident, Jason longs to have God's redemptive story told through music and the arts. When Jason isn't leading worship or taking photographs, you can find him fighting the urge to eat large portions of mac and cheese. He also loves playing basketball, volleyball, and tennis. Jason also hopes to be good enough one day to beat Jeremiah at ping pong. He is currently welcoming prayers for this endeavor.
