Zach Koele
House Church Resident
Zach is a husband, son, lifelong learner, and college basketball fiend. Born just outside of Austin and raised in the Houston-area by a family with a long heritage of faith, Zach was always one who was perpetually curious and fascinated by the created world and its people.
Attending Baylor University originally with goal of becoming a doctor, the Lord changed his direction during his third year to study business, ultimately graduating with a degree in Finance. While at Baylor, Zach met his wife Abby and they were married shortly after graduation. After finishing school, Zach took a job at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, where he worked for 2+ years in the corporate world before feeling the Lord’s call to come serve the people of 7MR in a full-time capacity as House Church Resident. Passionate about discipleship, spiritual education, and the care of the church, Zach cares deeply about seeing those around him find purpose and joy in the believer’s life. He is thrilled to come alongside our House Church Shepherd’s specifically, as they love and serve the people of their communities.
In his free time, you can find Zach trying new restaurants with his wife, playing golf, reading about pretty much anything, or playing with his Springer Spaniel puppy, Putter.
