Operational Model and Governance

TFC will operate as a financially self-sustaining entity. Lease income from tenants will cover operating expenses. Tax-exempt status will be preserved by maintaining a missional tenant mix and working proactively with Harris County to ensure property tax exemption on those parts of the property aligned with the tax-exempt purposes.

The TFC property will include three governing entities:

  • Together for the City (501c3): Executes mission and manages tenant partnerships

  • Redeemed Property Holding Company (509a3 Supporting Org): Holds and stewards the physical property assets

  • Seven Mile Road Church: Anchor tenant and vision catalyst.

Together for the City and the Redeemed Property Holding Company Supporting Organization will each have a board of directors with nine members. Contact us for questions about bylaws and details of board appointments.
