TIM CORNELSON

ELDER

Tim Cornelson has spent his lifetime as a disciple maker. He gave 25 years as a Young Life volunteer at Lamar High School. And he has served in church high school and college programs over the past 30 years. Tim has served Seven Mile Road through the plant team, as a house church shepherd, provisional board member, production team lead, and as the coordinator for all things computer related.

Tim is originally from Ponca City, Oklahoma. While studying Electrical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma he spent his summers working for Conoco’s Exploration Research department. After OU he landed in Houston with Conoco where he completed 36 years of service. He retired in March of 2018 to spend his next season of life as a disciple maker and volunteering with Seven Mile Road on various projects. He boasts that his parents are the oldest Sunday Worship Gathering participants (Jane is 90 and his dad passed to glory on Easter 2021).
